Job Position: Automation Engineer

Job Description

Manage the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of instrumentation and automation control systems supporting production processes (temperature, pressure, flow, level, etc.).

Continuously monitor operating parameters, analyze data, and adjust control systems to ensure stable, safe, and efficient production processes.

Perform programming, configuration, and optimization of PLC, SCADA, and DCS automation control systems to meet operational and production requirements.

Research, evaluate, and implement new automation technologies to improve system performance, enhance production efficiency, and support digital transformation within the factory.

Manage, supervise, and train personnel in the Automation Department; assign tasks and support the development of the team’s technical capabilities.

Coordinate with the Engineering, Maintenance, and Production departments to analyze root causes, troubleshoot system issues, and implement improvement solutions.

Ensure automation systems comply with operational safety requirements, industrial control system security, and relevant technical standards.

Report system operating status, performance, technical issues, and improvement progress to the Board of Directors.

Candidate Requirements:

Education: College degree or above in Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Automation, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: At least 3 years of experience in engineering, instrumentation, measurement systems, and industrial automation systems such as DCS, PLC, etc., supporting factory production operations.

Proficient in Chinese.

• Continuously monitor operating parameters, analyze data and adjust systems to ensure production processes operate stably, safely and efficiently.
• Perform programming, configuration and optimization of PLC, SCADA and DCS automation control systems to meet operational and production requirements.
• Research, evaluate and apply new automation technologies to improve systems, enhance production efficiency and support digital transformation in the factory.
• Manage, guide and train employees in the automation department; assign tasks and support the improvement of the team’s technical capabilities.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Maintenance and Production departments to analyze causes, troubleshoot issues and implement system improvement solutions.
• Ensure automation systems meet operational safety requirements, industrial control system security requirements and relevant technical standards.
• Report operating status, system performance, technical issues and improvement progress to the Board of Directors.

Candidate Requirements:

• Educational requirement: College degree or higher in Engineering Technology / Mechatronics, Automation, Electrical – Electronics Engineering, or Measurement & Control Engineering.
• Experience requirement: At least 3 years of experience related to technical engineering work, measurement, instrumentation and monitoring measurement systems serving factory production activities.
• Proficient in Chinese.
